Q1.How well are public properties in your region maintained?
A1.Nowadays, public properties in Mumbai are maintained very well. Public properties such as:-
Trains are cleaned and checked once every day
Parks and sidewalks are being cleaned at all times
Roads get cleaned twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening
Public washrooms are just beginning to be maintained as people used to spit red coloured eatables on the walls of these washrooms. This has reduced considerably over the past year
The railway stations are being cleaned at all times and there are police officers present to detain any litters
Bus stops are cleaned twice a day, once in the morning and the evening.

Q1.Define the region you will investigate with a short explanation?
A1.The region my group and I will investigate is consists of Mumbai and Pune as the former had 1,675 cases of vandalism and graffiti and Pune had 2,271 cases of vandalism and graffiti as of 2019. Maharashtra itself had over 42,000 cases of vandalism. We are also investigating the region as all the members of our group are from Mumbai and will be able to perform at their peak as they know this region inside out.

Q5.What are the steps taken to protect these properties from vandalism and graffiti?
A5.The only steps that are taken is to clean the vandalized property and if the person is caught he will be arrested and given a minimal sentence and be fined.
Q6&Q7.Do you see vandalism of your school property by the students? If yes, suggest ways in which vandalism can be prevented. If no, what are the steps taken to protect school property?
A6&A7.Yes, I do see students vandalizing school properties as they litter and sometimes they write or draw on the walls of the classroom or write on the desks. This can be prevented by the increase in security cameras and the locking of the classrooms during the breaks.

park so that it goes unnoticed.
- Public Toilets- Public toilets have red spit marks on the urinals or walls. Most of
